Decided to try out Waffle House one late night when I was craving breakfast. I suggested IHOP but my husband swayed me to be brave and try Waffle House. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much - except for maybe some drunk party goers looking for late night fuel. But man oh man was I happily surprised. These were the best waffles I've ever had. EVER. They were perfect in every way - texture, density, and flavor. I only got one but I think I could have had about 15. I also sat at the counter so I could see the kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by how clean they were keeping it back there while cooking. Maybe I'm just uncultured in the breakfast industry - but I can't wait for my next excuse to go to Waffle House.

Kind of like IHOP used to be. Ok for a quick bite.

Good food, service is mostly good. They have a fly issue that they can't seem to get rid of.

The last time I went to the waffle house, the stars just went down instantly. The place was so dirty and it took so long to get the lady to clean a table for us. Then once we got the food, it got cold so fast. I was not impressed or happy at all. Usually when I come here for a quick breakfast with my bf it's pretty good so we keep coming back. But after my last experience I don't really want to go back. :/

All the way around a good experience at this Waffle House. Located just off of I 275. I come to this WH almost every year I'm in the area since hotel is one block away. It has been consistently above average. My most recent experience was a mid morning Friday breakfast. Luckily I found them not busy at all. The lot and walks were clear and easily can be located right off the road. Walked in to locate a place and it was not busy. Every table not occupied was cleared. There were many tables to choose from since not busy. I noticed the back area in the kitchen was clean. Service was prompt to our table after finding a place to sit down. Already knowing what we want our order was put in quickly, coffee and drinks put on the table immediately. Food on the table in less that 10 minutes. No complaints on taste and love the All-Star breakfast that throws a waffle and two sides in. Overall an above average experience. I would return.

How do you order your hash browns? The combinations are limitless! Diced. Chopped. Scattered. Smothered. Covered. Chunked. Topped. Peppered. Capped. Flipped. Flopped. Perhaps, extra crunchy? I can't help but order eggs-over-medium since they always do it right, and a biscuit since they griddle it with butter, and bacon because breakfast without bacon is just wrong, and of course, hash browns!

Had a great breakfast here on the way back to Tampa last night. We were entertained by the speed in which Beau and Nicky worked through the mini-rush that was about 12 people walking in all at once! And the food wasn't too bad either. In fact, my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit couldn't have been better, to be honest. And amazingly enough, I've never actually has waffles from WAFFLE House before, until last night. I was surprised at how good they were. They need real butter though. That hydrogenated oil spread that looks sorta like butter is freakin' suspect as hell. Other than that, all was good and I would definitely return again. Yeah, yeah, it's a chain, greasy spoon diner yadda, yadda, yadda. It was toothsome, cheap and we left with a doggy bag. Oh, and on a side note, this was the cleanest Waffle House I'd ever seen.

Blurry eyed and sporting the hunger of ten Gigi's we stumbled in late night. Stepping inside was like entering an alternate reality. A reality where Waffle House is clean, the employees super friendly, and the food fast, and surprisingly well executed. Certainly don't have a Waffle House anything like this in my neck of the woods, but wishing I did, because this was a lucky stop! If in the mood for a greasy spoon diner, this is a well maintained option. In the middle of Nowheresville,Saint Petersburg I may never find it again, but if I do, I hope Beau and Nicky are there too!

Just another breakfast place BUT Megan tonight was a sweetie and served us fast and efficiently! She had a smile on her face serving us even thought the guys next to me were weird.

Went here the morning of Jim's Harley Davidson Toy Run. It was a mad house. They were not expecting a rush like this but it happens the same time every year. You'd think management would be on top of events in their neighborhood. There were almost 3000 people just down the block from them. Yet still, they kept things moving along. A few orders got mixed up but over all, they busted their asses.

The food was good, our waitress was very attentive and the place is packed. This is why Waffle House is always our first and last stops when visiting the South.
